Description:
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration (ETA) is currently storing over 300,000 Foreign Labor Certification applications (Form ETA 750) in anticipation of the development of the new Centralized Application Processing System (CAPS). CAPS will replace the existing system to provide DOL with improved data quality and operational efficiency.
The Centralized Application Processing System is a workflow management application that will store and process DOL Labor Certification Applications (Form ETA 750). CAPS will allow DOL users to more efficiently and effectively manage applicant case correspondence processes from data entry through certification determination. In addition, the highly scalable CAPS application will provide DOL users with the ability to create detailed and robust summary level status reports, aggregate productivity reports and other ad hoc reports as needed.
