Scope: 1200 hours from July 2006 thru March 2007
Reverse-engineering of undocumented Active Service Pages (ASP) website
ASP.NET administration web interface for existing SQL Server database
The Health Central Network generates advertising revenue across multiple content websites. The acquisition of FoodFit.com required the ASP based site to be migrated to servers at the main datacenter and integrated with the enterprise environment. A new application to manage the website’s recipe catalog and meal planner in the existing SQL Server database was developed using ASP.NET. Enhancements were made to the legacy Active Server Pages (ASP) code to increase Search Engine Optimization (SEO). A new search engine was designed and developed to produce better search results increasing site traffic and ad revenue.
