Registered users are given a time-restricted trial account to begin creating their personal profile by answering a dynamically configured list of questions. Support for uploading a photo was included with an administrator approval process before availability. The compatibility search engine contained filters for location as well as desired answers for each question in the personal profile. The profiles of members meeting search criteria are listed. Private messaging, with configurable profanity filtering, allowed members to anonymously initiate or deny communication with each other prior to divulging identifying information. Access for expired trial users and accounts which failed reoccurring auto-payment is restricted until balance of account is resolved. Auto-payment engine re-authorizes credit cards monthly for continued site membership. Administrative back-end website provided reporting for account registrations, generated revenue and member messaging.
