Description:
The DesignedNet Photo Album is designed to import digital camera photo files paths and properties into a SQL database for categorization and browsing. Multiple resolutions of thumbnail files can be generated and stored in by system. The user can browse photos by category, as a slide show or individually and rate or comment each. Multiple hierarchical categories can be maintained for each Photo.
Photographs support multiple image files for each photo which allows for multiple resolutions of the same image to be grouped for display. Some photographs will have an extremely large source image and reduced sizes will be generated and also stored for these. Thumbnails are also supported in this manor.
Using an Access database or static XML files as the backend a user can login via a webpage to view the published photos and categories that are within their security level. A web service will expose the functionality to add/update/remove photos and categories from the album site. A
