This web based application allows architectural interns to submit work experience for certification credit to obtain their architectural license. A communication and workflow module automated the process of review and approval by the intern’s manager and facilitated the change management necessary to correct any mistakes in the submission. The intern monitors their overall progress across all required disciplines using graphical status reports. The most difficult task of this project was to gather and consolidate the information across multiple departments while managing the conflicts and collisions created downstream in the process which was usually resolved on a case-by-case basis by a customer service representative or department manager. This high-profile project provided the process transparency long requested by paying registered members and promised by the Board of Directors.
